Beef noodle soup is as proliferous in Taiwan as ramen noodle is in Japan or pho in Vietnam. Where to find the best beef noodle soup is always a question largely debated. Everyone has their favorites and every shop boasts to be the best. It is such an obsession that there are annual beef noodle soup competitions after which the winner can proudly display something in their shop saying that they had won.
Every time I come back to Taiwan my dad has a new favorite...
